I just finished reading Patton's Best by Nat Frankel, in the book he kept refering to a German Tiger 6 tank. What is he refering to, a Tiger 2 possibly or something else?

Panzerkampfwagen VI (six in Roman numerals) was the official designation for the Tiger.
Probably the person quoted was a little bamfoozled after all these years - if speaking at the time (ie, WW2), he may have been speaking through a filter of Allied 'Intelligence' which often interpreted enemy nomenclature rather freely...

i'm with acav on this basically Patton was refering to the Tiger's designation PzKmpf VI which is a mouthful so here simply called it a Tiger6
