Hi,
Just wondering if any of you have used Pactra acrylics. My LHS has them going on the cheap and I'll probably by some to see if they're any good. Are they worth using?
Thanks,
Mike.

I have a large number of Pactra paints and have found them good to brush paint with and have used them in my air brush without any problems.

Mike,
Buy them! No joke, I find them superior to Tamiya. Their color accuracy is just as good (every time I spray a new paint, I make a styrene chip. These I compare to the other) though there is the inevitable nit-picking.
They do not have the range of Tamiya, Model Master, Polly Scale (my personal favorite), nor the special colors, but I have bought a probable lifetime worth of Pactra.
How well do they airbrush? See my 1/100 F-104 and F-105 painted with Pactra acrylics: https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/review/2583

Thanks Darryl and Fred!
Superior to Tamiya, eh?! Now I'm definitely going to buy a few. I'm doing a Dora as part of the Fw-190 campaign and need to stock up on RLM colours (which Pactra have). I mainly use Gunze Aqueous acrylics, and I love them, but with Pactra at less than have the cost at LHS I thought I'd look into them. Thanks again for the heads up guys, I'll let you know how I get on.
Nice Thunderchief Fred,
Mike.

I've used Pactra for a long time with very good success. I like them a lot.
