I agree Nige i saw the story on Skynews and the fact that the pilot managed to ditch the plane as well as get everyone off safely was truly heroic in fact the New York Mayor is personally giving the flight crew "The Key To The City"

The news today line today read: Now the investigation begins, he did a great job in putting the A 320 down and not losing anyone so the NTSB needs to fill out hundreds of pages in triplicate to see how he did it.

Absolute nerves of steel,it was brought down like a feather. Nobody needs any expertise in recognizing the afore-mentioned. I read a long time ago that the European Union were considering not taking into account flying hours accumulated as military pilots when conceding licences for airline pilots, well after seeing the actions of this crew I would consider such notion as silly as not recognizing the traits accumulated as sniper for a job as a game warden.
