I found Armorama after seeking a place to hook up with other scale model builders besides those at my local hobby shop. I just re-started by building work after 20 year hiatus. . . My first project was a diorama that I am wrapping up now (pix posted to my workbench) and I think it turned out OK for someone who is very, very rusty!
I like to build 1:35 scale armor and dioramas as well as 1:72 scale aircraft and, when possible, airfield dioramas. I have nothing left from my early model building career except memories as everything has been lost over time. Prior to completing my current diorama my last builds were a Dragon T-72 and an Airfix Supermarine Spitfire.
I just built a family craft and hobby area in my basement and hope to get back into model building in a big way. I am already selecting kits for the next diorama!

Welcome to Armorama Conway.
Glad to have you hear. Your story is similar to many others here. I checked out your diorama, great for a first project back.
The most important thing here is to have fun and ask questions. To toot our own horn this is one of the biggest and most active modeling site. Someone will have an answer for you.
A couple of this about KitMaker, especially for a multi genre builder - check out the Switch Sites combo box at the top, it takes you to all the sub-sites/genres. Also check out the Features and Reviews sections (tool bar in header). Tons of good stuff in there.
Cheers
