Hi All,
Wondering what the weather would have been like during the battle. It does take place from May to June of 1942 so one would expect it to hot as hell, but?..
The reason is should my Afrika Korps troops be in shorts or overcoats.
I'm sure someone will be snickering when they see this, but I did try and Google etc. and found nothing
Thanks for your time
Pete

From memory it was horrendous storms and bitter rain. I am reading about the raid on Rommel which took place on the eve of Gazala and it appears that the weather was attrocious across that month.
