I need a quick fix here since I've been out of the modeling loop for quite awhile. Looking for the best OTB kit for the D "Delta" model Apache with regard to accuracy. My son-in-law works on them, so I'd like to build him a model of one. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not too hung up on a specific scale, but would prefer 1/48 or 1/35...thanks!

Darryl hands down the Hasegawa Apache is the best in 1/48th. With out going into it here a link that will give you a better look at it.

Thanks Joe! I really appreciate it! Good to hear from you!

P.S. Is there a PE set for this kit that you are aware of?

Darryl,
By far the Hasegawa kit is the choice. And as Joe already ref'd. the decal choices are getting better and there are 3 PE sets from eduard now.
