Robert,

Nice Akita We used to breed them many years ago. My wife who is a teacher and myself, a police officer are happily owned by 15 golden retrievers, 2 cats and 2 horses lol.

She's a 50/50 mix of German Shepherd and Catahoula Leopard (Louisiana breed). She has the Shep's body (structure, face, ears, hips, paws, et cetera) and the Cata's coloring/spots. Until we got her about two months ago, I had never seen a dog like this. At the time of those pictures she was roughly 3 months old and about 21 or so pounds. She's now at about 40 pounds and expected to ultimately get to about 70 or 75 pounds.

Thanks Darryl, you are only the second person in all the time i have owned her that has guessed she is an Akita most people think she is a shephard mix, her name is Kira she is 15 months old this week she weights 81 pounds and if you measure from the ground to the top of her big ears she stands 36 inches. Since you bread akita's you know they get a very bad rep for being difficult to deal with and are nasty she doesn't have a mean bone in her body and she has a very gentle nature. Mike it will be interesting to see just how big your pup gets it's always fun to watch them grow.

Carl,

Great OOB! Your winter camo application of hard edge camo is very well done

Robert,

The Akita breed has a bad reputation because of bad breeding Our guys and gals were lovely, sweet dogs.

Mike, I'm glad to see you've moved up in scale from that mangy furball cat of yours!!!
Here's my workbench buddy:

She keeps me company all the time, actually she's trying to stay away from the kids! They won't leave her alone for a second!
Matt, those are some sweet little buddies you have there. I had a cinnamon ferret for several years, he was more dog than ferret, loved to beat up the farm cats where I was living!!
