Hi guys,
just a short note to warn anybody lacking strong nerves and sado-masochistic tendencies, to put their business there.
I placed an order for the re-issued (or so I was led to beleive) Concord title "German Armor units at Arnhem" at this shop. When payment was done, I was advised that delivery would take at least 28 days.
Being curious as to what to expect, I mailed the proprietor for a more specific release/delivery date, also mentioning that i was not too impressed with the on-line ordering system he used, as it did not mention if the goods where in stock or not.
This mail were replied to in a sarcastic and semi-rude way, which I did not understand at all. After all, I only asked a polite question...
I was advised however, that my book would be available in another month or so.
I replied that I simple needed clarification to a couple of issues and did not understand why he was being rude.
Come end of december after the month has passed, I send a short mail, asking for the present situation with the book - well knowing that things may take longer than anticipated.
I then received a mail, after having waited faithfully for a month - telling me that the whole thing was not going to happen after all. The availability was based on a rumour on the US-DML website and now neither US-Dragon or the local distributor could confirm the reprint it the title.
And to top matters off, the proprietor shoots me a last jet of venom:
Quote: "Look, I think I will cancel your order. You have never bought
anything from my company in thirteen years of trading, and only this one
title because quite obviously you have tried every other dealer around the
world. This is really a waste of my time. Your card has not been charged." Unquote.
Lousy service from day 1, sarcastic and spitefull mails to relevant quetions and a completely incomprehensible antagony towards a potentially new customer.
You guessed it - I'm NOT going to shop there ever again.
So, you hvae been properly warned !
Happy holidays...
Best regards,
Michael Haugaard

Thanks for the warning.
Here a UK site that caries a large range of Concords books and I've never had trouble with them. They list what's in stock and dispatch is prompt. http://www.worldwartwobooks.co.uk/
Cheers,
Sean
