Hi,
I am just returning to modelling after many years of not being able to through work and family committments. I want to concentrate on 1/35th scale armour and am keen to get any advice on stuff such as 'acrylics' and weathering techniques. I used to use enamel paints year ago but have seen the outstanding results with the new acrylics.
Anyway, watch out for some really dumb questions from me

Welcome Paul,
I totally agree with Steve, mine left 9 years ago and have been back twice, each, both at different times.
Some quick searches for items will help you out a lot. Plenty of how to’s and such.
Good luck with the short time you have left,
Bob

Hey, Paul
Welcome back to modeling. I've recently returned to the hobby myself. My kids are also grown and out of the house and I hope they don't return to the nest too soon. However, they remain permanently attached to my checkbook, which cuts into my modeling budget.
Modeling is a constant-learning process and questions -- no matter how entry-level you may think they sound -- will offend no one and increase your knowledge and pleasure in the hobby. Everyone here is on your side.
Happy modeling.
