I posted this also in the ship building groups. Just picked up the Revell 1:72, PT-109 PT Boat. Doing some research for a bit before I start it. Any info would be of great help and I will make sure I post photos of it.
Are there any kits, PE kits that I could add to make this kit more realistic?

If you're doing Kennedy's boat, you might want to find a 1/72 37mm anti tank gun for the foredeck. When I built this, there were no PE kits and Kennedy was still President!

Hi Sammuel,

White Ensign Models has a most excellent PE set available for the early PT Boats, it is a little spendy but well worth it for the fine details that can be added. They also have a 1/72 scale 37mm AT gun as was mounted on JFKs' boat at the time of its sinking. I hope Garth pops in here with some added information for you, he has an excellent site and a great amount of knowledge relating to PT Boats. Here is a link to his site.
