Have you guys seen this month's Fine Scale Modeler? There is an article showing a method for airbrushing camo on aircraft and armor.
Have any of you fine folks tried this? It looks like a pretty darn good method.

I got the Saturday, haven't read that article yet, but I saw the pictures.
I've used a variation of it with clay. Don't know what it's going to do with the paint sprayed on it as far as reuse? The method works.

I haven't seen the article yet but yes I have used sillly putty for a sharp edged camo and I must say it worked perfectly.. The fun thing is it is reusable too..try it you'll love it ..

hmm nice techniek, but i just wondered why clay ??
and what means, reus ??? i know the word in dutch but can't find it in the dictionairry
if someone can translate the main part i would be thankfull

This feature is available on Fine Scales Web site. It is also available for download in .pdf format. Here is the link to the article. I am going to have to try this trick. I wonder if it can be used to mask off road wheels.
