I just use MS Power Point to design my decals. You just have to play with the fonts and styles until you find what you want. If you know the font and its not in your available fonts, you can get more off the net. Check out 1000 Free Fonts for some good ones. Good luck.

So, Gino, once you get the decal designed what product do you use to print on ? And what type of printer is used?

an inkjet printer is all you need to print with. But i have baremetal's clear and white decal film it comes in pack's of 3 or singles. I just know that with aircraft there is a correct shade of colour for roundel's and code's and so on.

G'day Jason,
Good name name that.
I use "Paint.Net" drawing program to do my decals.
Inkjets work well. Well, the good injets do anyway. Funny story there. Always use a photo cartridge for the colour parts, but if you are just printing black, a normal black cartridge is fine.
Always set the printer to max dpi and seal the decal after the ink has dried for at least 24hrs.
Cheers Jason
