I bought a clarke sshh 2 silent compressor from machine mart for just under £150 on saturday, and this thing is great . its quieter than my fridge.............all night spraying here i come.
Secondly it was over £110 cheaper than a ver very simaliar compressor.

thanks for letting me just share my joy :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) nice one. I to have cause to have a grin from ear to ear because of a new compressor. My brother rescued it from being crushed. Apparently it's out of a gaming machine (car racer or something). He aquired it for another brother who was designing a robot for Robot wars. This was about 2 years ago. Having blown up my old compressor I was lamenting this to my brother on our way to my other brothers, for a piss up. When he told me about it. I now have it, it's in perfect working order and when buying fittings for it (£30-00) I found out it was worth £800-00 :-) :-) :-) Now when I switch on power to my spray bothe the compressor starts up, silent running, gets to 8bar, in no time at all and switches off. My spray session is then totally quite, love it :-) :-) :-)
I don't think my wife fully appreciates what I have, not only have I got £800 worth of compressor for £30, but I've saved £250-£300 on a new one. I think I deserve a new airbrush :-) what do you think :-)

Holdfast,

In answer to your question: absolutely! This is what is called Model Economics, where the goal is simply spend your entire budget.

An airbrush and a new kit!
I'm impressed.
