I currently have a plastic (about to fall over) storage chest with pull out draw that I keep some tools, glue, pots of paint, bags of scenic supplies that I use for my modelling (military plastic kits) hobby. It is purely for storage as I have limited space in the kitchen and don't have a shed. I would love a work bench like on New Yankee Workshop.
I am look for a wooden chester drawers style storage box similar in design to this plastic one, perhaps a little bit bigger with deeper trays, but not sure, whether or not I should build it or buy one?
Does any one know of any good websites that specialise in building wooden projects?

How about a large free standing jewelry box? If you can get the drawers deep enough, it would be pretty decent.
Maybe like
this link Free standing box
Of check out ikea for shoe box type things that are stackable- just made out of wood.
I've seen guys use old Dentists tool cabinets (similar to the jewelry box).
Edit- I remember someone had a thread of a tool box they built for everything in one. Maybe a twist on it and make two to stack? I tried to find the thread but couldn't. So maybe some can help with that.

So you want something like that from wood?
Do you have any experience/access to tools to build one?
Looks like it would be relatively simple to build.
Is this the kind of site you need? http://www.woodworkingtalk.com
And if you do build it make sure you show us some pictures once its done.
