I was in the local hobby shop the other night. I dont go there often, I had a pretty rough summer, and get most of my kits from mail order, but I was there picking up a x-mas present and decided to go check if any of my kits were still in the display case downsatirs with the models.

One was, or should I say PART of one was.

One part ( ok 3 really..left right sides and hub) one wheel of the Sdkfz250 from my gallery was still there glued to the cobblestone base,

Nothing else, just one wheel/tire.

When I went upstairs to check out, I asked about it.
"Someone stole it" the not too bright, but somewhat shapely counter girl said.
I took my base (and wheel) and went home.

So I guess I should be flattered, rather than stealing a kit, or paint or glue.. someone stole one of my built up kits.

It's a funny world.

Stole it!? what kind of adult? would steal a built model ok maybe a kid that didn't want to build it them selfs. But geez steal a model from a display case no one sees this happening? I have heard storys of builders stealing models from shows after not winning but this is a new one to me.

This happened to me before also. Two running figures were stolen from a diorama on display. I wasn't happy.
