Hi everyone,
I'm after any comments etc on the book Without Warning by John Birmingham.
It's a near future techno thriller
I gave up on his Axis of time trilogy after book 2. but the premise of this new one looks good.

Cheers

Chris

Hi Lynden,
Sorry for being slack with a reply.
IMO hes' not in Tom Clancys' league,I feel his technical knowledge isn't quite there.
Tom Clancys' books again IMO seem to have a certain factual base whereas John Birminghams would perhaps be better as movies that said they aren't a bad read.
Without warning I enjoyed, the basic premise is that a natural phenomen wipes out all human life in most of the US and Canada, this is set around the time of Operation Iraqi Freedom so the armed forces are still in place.Sit down grab a coffee or two and enjoy.
