Any substitute for that product in Canada, I'm unable to find it.

While not quite as durable, plaster of paris works as a pretty good substitute. Once painted up and sealed under some clear coats it is hard to tell the difference.
But they do call Durhams' product, "Rock Hard" water putty and it is true, the stuff doesn't fracture or chip as easily as plaster of paris does if you aren't too careful with it.

Woodland Scenics makes a product called "Lightweight Hydrocal".
US Gypsum makes a product called Medium Joint Compound".
For the money, go USG. For workability, go Woodland Scenics.

Lowes hardware stores have them.Durhams lists Home Depot but I have not found any in my area.Don,t know if their are any Lowes in your area.Rob
