Hi chaps.
Can anyone tell me the difference between the green and the white putty (other than the colour)?
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy. Canīt answer your question directly ... Ive never used the green putty.
But unfortunately I have had the pleasure(?) of working with the white. Probably the worst Ive used to date. Dries very quickly, but its hard to "work" afterwards if sanding etc. is needed, and doesnīt allow for a grip to the filled area, which means the whole filling could fall out!
I prefer Humbrol putty .... needs to dry overnight, but great for working.

The green to me seems finer grained, the white is "crumbly". I have no idea why the even still sell the white. I have moved on to Tamiya putty, which I think is great stuff.
