Hi All,
Just wanted to send out a general greeting. I've already received a lot of help with my projects since signing up a couple weeks ago, so thought I would post a greeting and say to all the new enlistees that the people on this forum know their stuff and have a lot of great information.
Really appreciate everyone's help so far and hope I can contribute to the group.
Cheers,
Jason

Hi scoccia,
Didn't mean to offend you. I meant awesome as in wonderful, excellent, terrific. Which I think all of the above apply to the site. Sorry if this was taken in a negative context.
PS. Thanks for the help on the scratched clear plastic too.
Cheers.

Welcome, Jason! You'll not find a better modeling site with as much fun, hijinks, and cameraderie flying around as here! Also a great bunch of guys (and gals) and experienced model builders always anxious to lend a hand when needed... Just watch out for the guys here with a penchant for building cars (ACK) and those wingy thingies! ('Cept for SS-74, he's one of the keepers #:-)

I have no idea what he's talking about. Surely nobody here would dream of specialising in cars. All that nasty chrome and bright shiny finishes, lovingly polished until you can see yourself in it. Who would do something like that???
Welcome aboard Jason, this is a great group of folks despite the fact that they insist on making all their models look dirty.

Welcome Jason. Hope we can continue to assist you.
Yes, awesome is better than wonderful. In "American" awesome is cool, very manly. Wonderful is kind of a girly term.
