Hi all from the 1st Dec the level at which duty is paid for goods ordered outside the EU is raised to £105 . This is Good news on VAT for all . see article from my computer mag delivered today . cheers ian

Duty is from £105 and over
Excise is from £18 and up
VAT (at 15% for kits, down from 17.5% according to infor from Accurate Armour)
will be taken from £18 and upwards.
It is good news about the customs duty but since the VAT stays it isn't as large
a reduction as it could have been ;-)
