EDIT: This service is now based here: http://ozengravings.wordpress.com/

G'day,

I would like to offer any interested users the opportunity to have a name plate professionally engraved and posted to you for a small charge. These name plates are perfect to add to any diorama or model display base to give a more professional look. All plates come with high-stick, double sided backing tape for easy application to the diorama base.

I will not charge you per word engraved, rather a calculated cost. You can have any amount of text (limited only by the plate size you choose).

The example dimensions and prices (including postage) below are a guide to help you select the right engraving for you.

5cm x 2cm (rectangular, small):
-$8.55 Australian Dollars- posted Internationally.
-$7.05 Australian Dollars- posted within Australia.

7cm x 2cm (rectangular, large):
-$9.75 Australian Dollars- posted Internationally.
-$8.25 Australian Dollars- posted within Australia.

4cm x 4cm (square, small):
-$10.35 Australian Dollars- posted Internationally.
-$8.85 Australian Dollars- posted within Australia.

6cm x 6cm (square, large):
-$16.35 Australian Dollars- posted Internationally.
-$14.85 Australian Dollars- posted within Australia.

Here is an example of 7cm x 2cm plates:

And an example of a custom size, 4cm x 3cm plate:

If you are interested, send your enquiry to: [email protected]

Please indicate-

-Text you want engraved on the plate.
-Preferred plate size (can be customised to any dimensions).
-Preferred font type and size (or just the default, sized to fit).
-CAPS or lower case.
-Border or no-border
-Your country.

Following receipt of your email, I will reply specifying the total price. Paypal only please.

Chas Young

Chas,

That is a good price. Heheh, I've bookmarked this thread for future reference. I used to make engraved plates for plaques in the mid-80's...your's have a much nicer "depth" to them (30 year techie advantage )

Expect an email soon.

Welcome to December!

I have created a new formula which effects the prices slightly, some plate dimensions actually work out cheaper.

G'day Lewis,

I'm glad you're happy with your plate.

I don't personally make the name plates. I am helping out a local professional engraver who doesn't offer a postal service, nor any kind of internet outreach. My job is to take your order to the engraver, and once it is finished, package and post it to you, kind of like a chef and waiter at a restaurant.

sweet! Whenever I need one I'll trust getting one from you! (but I might not need it for a while:) I am just wondering, how long do you think it would take to ship it to Canada?

How can we combat poverty?

100% of profits made from name plate sales in February, March and April will now be donated to Scott Girvan's (scaleModelAddict) African well fund.

Hello Chas
You say that you can get custom sizes done as well.
I'm after a sign of 1 cm by 8 cm to go on a ship name plate. can your friend make 1 that small.

PM sent Shaun.

Any size, unless ridiculously small, can be done!
