hey all,

has anybody tried registering for the Dragon models fan club? They are giving away free tracks for new registers...i stumbled across this by accident while googleing T48 track.

http://www.dragonmodelsltd.com/mdfc/armor-club/

I registered 2 days ago and am STILL waiting for confirmation email...a bud also registered the same day, and he hasnt recieved his yet either.

Anybody else received a confirm email or something from them?

I registered a long time ago, and from what I remember, they are not very quick at sending confirmation emails. You can be assured of receiving your tracks, they were good about sending "freebies" out, but it did take some time.

Cheers,
Mike

Strange they banned both AOL and Hotmail address.

So is there another that one could use.

Ah ok -- I used a yahoo address as well and didn't get through. No reason whatsoever. After that I never bothered. Must be too exclusive even for their customers.

You are not really missing too much there (other than the bloggers rantings). It took me a few months to get approved after I first applied.

The Dragon "DMFC" is a pseudo-exclusive pro-Dragon site . From my experience they say you need someone to "recommend" you. Most people are banned if they have criticized DMl or are connected with certain companies/individuals. It's basically a sock puppet forum with that moron #1 Hiroshi at the helm. Which is why I don't buy DML kits, and won'y until they reveal said blogger's identity and apologize to the people "he(DML)" has insulted. I spend an average of $400 a month at least , now my $ goes to other manufacturers.
