Hey all,
I just happened to see that the History Channel in Canada is broadcasting a new program tonight on who actually destroyed Michael Wittmann's Tiger 007.
It's on at 8 PM PST, not sure about the rest of the country.
Looks interesting !!
Cheers

It seems pretty clear that the Canadian detachment of the Sherbrooke Fusiliers killed Mr. Whittmann.

Very impressive, though, that the British tanks knocked out the other three Tigers at 800m+.

I agree. The history channel program gives the Yeomanry the credit for knocking out three of the Tigers even though they were at 800+ meters whilst the Sherbrookes were considerably closer and also firing on these 4 Tigers. In fact they measured the distance from where Whittmann's Tiger was detroyed to the stone wall where the Sherbrookes were firing at him and confirmed that Whittmann's Tiger was only 143 meters from the Sherbrooke's position. Additionally, they also confirmed that Tiger 007 was opened up by a shot that penetrated near the front left cooling vent which killed the crew immediately then set off fuel and ammo blowing the turret off a few second's later. The Canucks were firing exactly on the left flank of the German advance while Yeomanry unit was hitting them from their right flank.
Nevertheless, Whittman's attack on hill 112 was suicide. Why he did it I guess is perhaps the greater unknown here.

I'm almost sure it was the Canadians! Isn't it obvious!
Oh well....
