I just picked up a 1/35 dragon Abrams SEP....the refrence images I have seem to show the optic covers or the glass lenses on the tank are cover w/ what look like some kind of purple anti-reflective coating. Any tips on how to replicate this in 1/35 scale?

I think I will also post this over in the armor forum, might get some hits over there.

I have used thinned PVA glue to put “glass” in port holes on ships. So, I would try mixing food coloring – to get the color then use it to thin the PVA.
