I am just 'crossing over' for a bit to let everyone know that Chas Young will be hosting this forum from this point on. I noted that Paulo had been showing up as host but that was because he hosted the Brazilian community forum and when he moved it came across with him. I am not even sure he knew that.

So welcome Chas! Chas is also hosting the History Club forum now as well.

Cheers,
Jim

PS: Who knows maybe in some years to come I will officially 'cross-over' and join you guys for real. Things here in the US are certainly not so hot lately.

Congrats Chas!

Wow! Can't believe the same kid that I was giving review advice to in February is now hosting 2 forums as well as having a number of reviews and features under his belt. Congrats mate!

If I may put on my 'dad' hat for a second... hope this isn't going to distract you from year 12 exams, and varsity studies - as well as that other leggy topic we discussed

Also, I hope you take advantage of this opportunity (BTW, don't forget to note this under 'Volunteering' on your resume ) to encourage other Aussie youngsters to take up model making and posting here - even the warhammer guys and gals are welcome here

Rudi

p.s. Jim: you're always welcome here, mate!!

Thankyou for the welcome guys.

It is a real honour to be made host of this forum as well as the History Club. I hope that I can work to improve both forums and make them even better parts of the Kitmaker network.

Thanks Rudi, your past and ongoing advice/peptalks is very much appreciated! As I'm sure I have told you, I want to study military history at university. Surely hosting the History Club forum is nothing but beneficial!

Regards,
Chas

LOL! I do remember - I'm not that old

I completely agree with you, this is a mutually beneficial relationship - just don't let the internet modelling dominate, okay?

Once again, congrats, and with your passion and enthusiasm I know you'll do a great job at hosting the forums

Rudi

p.s. yeah... watch out for that dodgy Saffer, he'll most likely try to corrupt you in some way...
