KitMaker Network is happy to announce that a new site has joined the network. Thanks to the efforts of Nigel Julian (lampie) this new site will be a place for members to discuss anything related to the P-47 Thunderbolt. The new site, dubbed "P-47 Heaven", is a S.I.G. (special interest group), so if you are interested in the P-47 please join in the discussions and events on the site. One such event is a new group build campaign specifically on the Thunderbolt. Well done Nige, I remember you telling me about the SIG, and I've been secretly following your hard work! Good job! I never imagined a new site would result though!

I'd like to begin something similar someday, perhaps dedicated to Pacific war modelling? What are your recommended procedures for starting a SIG?

It's been hard keeping this secret as Nige discussed the idea of a site a long while back.

It's great to see what started out as a joke comment by me has become one mans dream and has come into fruition the way it has.

Here's to many more years and hopefully an officially recognised IPMS club in the future

But and it's a big BUT Yet another site to check twice daily but thats no real hassle in fact it'll the first one checked daily.
