The Noreastcon 2002 at Sturbridge, Mass in coming in a couple of weeks:
NOREASTCON 2002. The show is 3 and 4 May. Sturbridge, Mass is off of I-90 (Mass Pike) near where the borders of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut meet.

I hesitated on a Verlinden Grant CDL conversion for $5...you snooze you lose.

It looks good to me, I had been looking for one for a little while and Great Models lists them as special order at over $20 (close to $30 after s/h), I snatched it up real quick. In addition to the engine compartment (drops in from the underside and is not able to be displayed removed) it has a new engine door (both the uparmored type and old type).
