So to speak...LONG LONG hiatus...
modeled as a kid (and not very good) and then a bit in my 20s (not much better), so now that I'm divorced and relocated to Fort Worth, I got all this time on my hand, wanted to gather up supplies and try my hand again.
I figured something mono-color, small and easy to step back in, and got inspiration at the Fort Worth Gun Show. A really pristine, restored gorgeous WW2 M38A1 over in the northeast corner of the show.
So I have a Tamiya Pak 40 and Willys MB sitting on the table (courtesy of the coupon from Hobby Lobby and 30% off sale). Now to gather up tools everything and get at it. Starting from scratch basically stinks!
