I have tried for two days to log onto Hobbyeasy.com in Hong Kong to place an order and the site is clearly down. Anyone know if they are just experiencing web site issues, or have shut down for business?

Bill - it comes up for me. I didn't try to login as I don't have an account, but the page loads fine.
You could try clearing your Internet Explorer history and cookies, as well as deleting temp files and see if that helps. If that doesn't work, maybe your ISP isn't playing nice. Do other HK-based vendors load?

Luckymodel comes up fine. There's clearly some gremlin in my software that's blocking that site. I was able to complete the order on my Crackberry.

Is this God's way of telling me "you have enough kits already, #@$hole!!"????

Bill,
Try logging on using a different browser. When I attempt to log on to Hobbyeasy.com using Safari I often have problems, but if I use Firefox I have no problems at all.
HTH,
Steve

Funny, I can log into Hobbyeasy fine, but for some reason LuckyModels comes up dead.
OH well, I guess I'll have to forgo my Friday night Hong Kong spending spree this week.

It is possible that Hobbyeasy have inadvertedly blocked your IP address for some reason. Happened to me a few years ago. If you send an email to the webmaster they can check if it's been blocked and undo whatever they did.

When I get back from Europe tomorrow I will send them an email and see if they are the problem.

I can bring up the page and navigate the site, but it will not let me register a new account. Any ideas while I wait for them to e-mail me back?

Dunno, I have emailed them back & forth and can't find the problem. It's Luckymodel from here out for me, unless I use my Crackberry.

I spent two hours of intense surfing on their site, shut down the computer for dinner etc and now I can't access it anymore either. Strange.
If I may ask some advice too... I just discovered this site and saw quite a lot of kits I'd like to buy, but I'm a bit worried about customs... What are your experiences? Any tips?
Did anyone allready have their stuff sent by boat (surface) to keep shipping cost lower?
Thanks!!

I have had no customs issues. They're an excellent source of PE.
