Is anyone proficient with Solidworks or AutoCAD 3D? I'm looking for an STL file to be drawn of a barrel I want to get turned in aluminum. I can provide the 2D dimensions for conversion.

If you are, please let me know.

Thank you.

Gary,

Hello from down here in South Carolina!

I've been using AutoCAD since 1987 and I've done some 3D work. I can certainly attempt to create a STL file of your barrel for you.

I've recently been working with Nick "Angry Dog" on some gun shields, which you can see here.

If you're still looking for CAD help, I am also very familiar with Solidworks & can get you an STL file of most anything you like.

I'm a professional engineer & have been doing this sort of thing for a lot of years.

Well after 6 months, I have final managed to get the barrel turned from the CAD drawings.

If you want to see the results look at the bottom of this post.
