What are your thoughts on holding a National Modeling Contest? I mean a show at a location? I just made a post at WW2modelmaker for just that. What would be a good central location? Awards? Sponsors? I think this would bring together alot of for a good time. Let's discuss the possibility. Can the two groups work together to pull this off? I think it would be just a fantastic time and would give us another possibility for a really good show.

To be honest, that already exists in the IPMS National Convention each summer. Last year, there were some 2000 models on display from all over the country and beyond. The figure guys have major events several times through the year, with World Expo being the grand daddy of them all and their events spark international attention. I believe AMPS spring event in Maryland constitutes essentially a national level armor based contest.
