I use Milliput as my main filler when correcting fluid won't do. Silver-white - only the best! I try always to mix it evenly but usually fail, so half the time it sets too slowly and half the time it sets too quickly. For convenience I'd prefer it to set quicker (it reduces down-time) and I've only just worked out that if I do mix it wrong, if there's more hardener than putty in the mix, it will set quickly.

So my question is - purely for reference, you understand - does anyone know which of the two parts of silver-white Milliput is the hardener?

I don't know, but if no one answers you can test it yourself.

Make two mixtures, one with more white, the other with more silver. Then just wait and see.

The yellowy stuff is the hardener as far as I can tell---I seem to have a natural bias when using milliput as I always have some of the white stuff left over when I get to the end of the packet!

That stuff is amazing....I had a hairline split in the intake manifold where coolant flows into the heater core of my wife's Ford. I figured what the heck I'll try some Milliput. The stuff is hard as a rock and it fixed the leak....two Thumbs up
