Guys, saan ba makakabili ng magandang digi cam na kaya ang micro imaging? I want to use it for my plastic models kasi yung ibang pics malabo pagclose up. Can you give me the price, pic, specs and location kung saan makakabili?

You need a digicam with a "small object" mode, usually denoted by the symbol of a flower (a tulip I think), or an SLR (professional) camera wherein you can set a very large aperture (very low fnumber). f5.6 and lower is recommended for shots that near. You also need a tripod, because minute movements at such close quarters will cause camera shake.

Goodluck!

Yes, but my cam can't get a close up on the face of 1/35 figs. If you want to see how blur it is, ask Lonewolf.

A 2.1 megapixel camera will cost you around five figures (10,000 up). Search at computer stores, they sell 2.1 megapixels and up digital cameras.

Or, alternatively, in the short term, try having your models shot by a studio photographer or the like.

Galeng! Digicam! Bili sana ako pero number 1 wala akong computer at number 2 wala akong pera

I'm making do with a 20-year old SLR with a macro lens that can get clear shots from 9 inches away. No problem kasi bigay lang ng auntie ko. Wala nga lang akong scanner

Errr... yes what? Naka-flower mode na yung cam mo? Nakita ko kung gaano kablurry. I think your blur is caused by camera-shake. Use a tripod :-)

Yes, it is already in a micro (flower mode) Nope, it's not by the camera shake, it is cause by the cam itself

Don't feel bad SR. I inherited a first-generation digi cam (not even 1 megapixel) and I couldn't produce good photos until I learned some nifty features it has and so managed to produce some decent pix. All of the pix in the Work Place thread as well as the Challenger I in this thread were taken by that camera.

Tip: Don't use a flash when taking pix of your model. Better flood the model with white light or shoot under natural light conditions. Compare this photo (with flash) with the others above (however, I must add, the end result of this mistake of leaving the flash had a desirable result - which was to show the camo scheme, which is normally not that distinctly visible even under normal lighting conditions)

Lattex - maybe you have some info on that camera SR's using so that he can take better pix.

Yah! I bought a stupid cam! Kamakailan ko lang naisip na gagamitin ko sya for model kits eh. Tsaka 3 in 1 sya (Digital Cam, Camcorder, Webcam). Nagustuhan ko yung mga features na yon
