I just heard the sad news about our man Paul Newman.
He's gone at 83.


I'll set em up we will do a round for his memory. 50 years with the same woman. Now thats a friend ! Playboy once interviewed him asking if he had ever cheated on his wife. He said in reply. ". . .If you have steak at home why go out for hamburger?" Cool Hand Luke indeed!

Sad news indeed...
He, to me was one of the 'big' film actors.
The Sting and Cool Hand Luke still rank amongst my favourites.

I sat down and watched 'Exodus' yesterday. l love his balsamic vinaigrette.

What a bummer. Saw him race a 914-6 at the Porsche Rennsport at Lime Rock Park a few years ago. He was a really class act. My thoughts are with his wife and family.
