:-) Hi sarge,
I recently bought and used Humbrol Matt Cote ( on my Corsair ) and it's pretty good. There are instructions on the label on the reverse, but the print is tiny. Basically, shake and stir well, 6 hours drying time and thin with white spirit. I have only sprayed it but as it's Humbrol I would guess it would brush fine :-)

for spraying I thin 2-1 with enamel thinners. It is a good product but I have not brushed with it so can't tell you anything about that aspect of it. :-)
