A decent T34/76, U.S.half tracks (multiple gun carriage hmmm) Dragon wagon and the Famo (could re mortgage the house) and a affordable ww2 U.S. tank crew.

R&J makes a coversion set for the Uhu. Kinda pricey @ 55.00...

R&J Products

Keenan,

I thought I replied once, but I can't find it.. go figger..

Thanks for the tip, I've got one of the R and J which is pretty nice, but a bit fiddly.
The Verlinden version is pretty poor and the ancient MB models vers worse still..

Still, imagine how nice a modern Tamiya-quality new-tooled version would be... drool...

Something I would like to see, but would probably be a failure sales wise is a 1/35 scale MBT70 with options to make the US or West German variant and the US XM803.

Other than that, I can't wait for the upcoming M3 Lee. I think it is supposed to have an interior like the new Stuarts. I've always like the looks of that tank. I just wonder what marks they will produce.

Rob--who is making the new M3? Shades of "Sahara" again....

DJ, I believe Academy is producing the new M3 medium tank series with interior, very much like they did with the M3 light tank series. I'm awaiting the release with baited breath.

Most desired kit that is in the works: Tristars Morser.

my previous most desired kit, this:

now that I have that, I would love a 1/48 scale E-2 Hawkeye. Revell re-releasing it's EA-6B Prowler in 1/48th would be nice also :-)

I can't comment on the M60's but Tamiya's T72, with it's admitted turret dimension/shape issues is a very nice kit. A replacement turret should not be necessary from a new release from a major manufacturer, but the JK resin from Finland(?) is drop dead beautiful.

Mine, built ootb, with the kit turret got an AMPS intermediate silver

Technically this may not fit... not armor... but it IS a kit...

I'm looking for more of the rare "civilian" series of figures from PREISER. I just found the "5 Civilians waving" kit (#64002) at the Squadron Fest, and snatched it along with the 1:32 scale "Passengers boarding a train" (#63000) and they will look great in my upcoming diorama. Anyone know a good source for more of the PREISER series in 1:35 or 1:32?

This is where I get all of my Preiser figures from when Phil's can't get their hands on it. Come to think of it since Phil's is closing I guess I'll be getting all of my Preiser figures from this place from now on. I get the 1/32 adam and eve combo kits to speed up figure posing if I don't have the time or patience to chop up a Historex figure.

Here's the link...

I saw this a couple of times posted before

I also would love to see a PACV Hovercraft in 1:35 that would be really cool that is also probably the only vehicle that could draw me away from WW2 modeling

Well, I guess I'm into modern AC's of any scale (1/72 and larger). Most Probably is the Harrier, Thunderbolt II, F-22, F-18, F-117. These are my favorite models

Personally I'd like to see the UK's AS90 Field Howitzer in 1/35 as I worked on these during my apprenticeship during the early 90's. Oh happy days!!

Re. the As90, I was thinking of one as well, however after looking at god knows how many reviews, the general conclusion was that it needs a lot , an enormous amount of work to turn it into something special. I then had a look at AAs lists and saw they have an update (for about 38 pounds) so I have decided to shelve the project until someone posts something about the update kit to see if it's really worth it.....Jim

Had a look on hannants and theyre retailing for £12.95 IIRC.
Are trumpeter a brand best avoided? I noticed most prices were relatively low.

H.Priest... No they're not to be avoided, in fact the opposite is true, they (and Panda) are doing subjects no-one else will touch. They do require a bit more work, but where else are you gonna find subjects like Brit. Strikers, Challenger 2s and an absolute mountain of helicopters in 1/35 like the Chinook? Everyone says the same thing, they build well straight from the box and they're cheap enough to really turn into that dream model.. Jim

Cheers

Depends, the AS90 looks good from the box, but a bit of extra detailing would help, the AA set is all singing all dancing but a bit pricey....jim

Re: Trumpeter AS90 kit, I heard that the quality is great. What needs an update is the Trumpeter Challenger II kit. Maybe you guys mixed it up. (but I could be wrong)
