Guys,

I have just borrowed my dads DVD camera ... I just bought some RW discs for it, but the disc can't be readed through my DVD player on the computer. I don't know either how to "rip" the DVD files into JPG format. Anyone that can these sort of things?

Hi,
is it a digital camera? Not sure about dvd cameras, but would assume that if it goes onto a disc that that particular media will not be suitable. You have dvdr, dvdrw and another one which i cant remember. For example if you had a dvdr machine you could not watch that disc on a dvdrw machine. Its like the old betamax and vhs video recorder scenario.
If you have an ordinary digital camera then you would also need the software that comes with it to be able to upload the photos.
Other than that sorry cant help, but i hope i have in some way!

Are you sure it's a DVD camera? I've heard tell that these were coming for video, but not still cameras. Are you perhaps talking about the Sony Mavica series? In which case, some drives require you to close or make the CD compatible. To do this, go to "My Computer" and right click the drive the CD is in. Select "Make Compatible" and you should be in business.

Guys,

I am talking about this one:

I think I know what the problem is... I think I have to finish CD before I can see it. And I record with DVD ram, that would say, DVD discs but smaller, about 6 GB on each side.
