Hi from Ireland. My name is Gary and I'm retired from the Irish Naval Service, was
a Chief Petty Officer/ Radar Radio Technician. As I am new to having a bit of spare
time on my hands I thought I'd go back to my favourite boyhood hobbie.
Just finished the NX-01 (Enterprise) and being in electronics I lit it up ( the warp neceles, all the windows, left & right light which is red & green and impulse engines) I'll post some pics when I get a digital camera. At the moment I'm building the Bismark (the one from the mags). It's made from wood and will be
4ft long and 1.5ft high.
I was thinking of starting with 1/35 figures for 1 man dioramas then maybe work up to something bigger after a bit of practice.
BTW great site and a lot of my questions have been answered already.
