Hi all! In a half-hearted attempt to clear out stuff I have collected over the years I am considering parting with my Time/Life History of WWII books. These were hawked over TV and mass mailings during the mid - late 1970s. They are hard backed, about 11 3/4" X 9 1/2" in size and average about 200 pages per volume. Lots of photos, maps, and diagrams. Each volume is a separate topic on a different area of the war. When I bought them they cost about $20.00 each. I'm pretty sure I have the entire set. I wrote to Time and tried to find out how many volumes there were and their answer was they retained the right to release as many or as few as they wanted to. Anyway, I kept getting them until they stopped sending them. They've been packed away for quite a while. I think there are maybe 36 volumes, don't hold me to that because it's been some time. They are all in very good condition with no stains, tears, marks, splits, etc. to the best of my knowledge. Some may have small bends on the cover corners and maybe a tiny scuff on the bottom edge of the spine from being shelved. Since I don't really know what they are worth, I'm putting this out to see if there is any interest in them.

I want to sell the whole set as a unit. If somebody in Indiana wants them I'd be willing to meet somewhere within a reasonable distance to deliver them. Mailing via media mail, UPS or Fed-Ex is OK, too but buyer pays shipping. The books weigh about 2 1/2 pounds each so that gives you an idea of total weight for the set. I don't mind sending overseas, but I won't be responsible for the mail system where you are. I will provide a shipping confirmation, but I have heard tales of woe although I have never had any problem with overseas purchases or sales beyond some long delivery times.

If anybody is interested PM me with an offer or your tell me you're interested in the set and I'll dig them out, get an exact count, title list, total weight, whatever you want before you make an offer. The effort involved in unpacking them is pretty labor intensive so that's why I'm putting this feeler out first. If there is no interest I'll have to stow them away again which is double the work. Thanks for your interest!

I check Armorama several times a day so your PM won't linger for long. If there is an acceptable solid offer made, first accepted will be first served. I'll post date and time so nobody thinks I've cheated them.
