There was a post some time ago that had a list of suggested items for a beginner modeler. I searched the site to no avail. I think that Sabot may have made the post. As I'm looking to start a club on the Base, let's have your ideas so that I can put a list together for the newbies. I'll start:

Exacto knife set;
Sprue cutters;
A variety of paint brushes, flat and round;
Sanding blocks;
Needle files;
Sandpaper;
Scissors, large and small;
Tweezers, large and small;
Coping saw;
Razor saw;

Lots more, you get the idea...
