Hello,
I am a French modeller and I would like to order online models from modellbau sonderangebote in Hamburg (Germany). Are they serious ? I have not found any information about them on the web. Thanks for your help.

Interesting.
I didn't know about modellbau-sonderangebote before reading this thread.
But I've ordered stuff from modellbau-universe.de in the past (I've also been to their main shop in Nuremberg, which is like a modeller's Aladdin's Cave and well worth dropping by if you're in the area and have a few hours to spare).
They're not the cheapest e-tailer by any means, and delivery can be a bit slow as well. But they're definitely a reputable ("seriös", as the Germans say) company, so I can vouch for them.

I think "modellbau-sonderangebote" is new. I've started noticing products with discount prices amongst the search results on Modellbau Universe a couple of days ago. is nice, but what they charge for shipment to the rest of the EU is still to much (15 euro's regardless of what you order) at Modellbau Universe. You'd have to order a lot at once to make it worthwhile.

Thanks a lot for all your answers. 15 euros is an huge amount for a shipping, especially when you live in Europe. It is the reason why in order to reduce this cost, I placed my order with 2 other modelers who live in Paris.
Besides, some items displayed as available on their web site are out of stock. Unfortunately, you get the message after having placed your order and paid.
I hope to get my order soon even if several weeks seem to be necessary....

Didier,
That's a problem I've encountered with modellbau-universe also.
Their Web site doesn't show "live" stock levels, so you can end up having to wait a long time for your order.
