Here is a tip for cleaning your equipment

After cleaning your equipment with thinner, clean it with soap and water. This will keep your tools corroding caused by the thinner. This will also make the tools smelling good and really clean

I'm with Shonen Red on this. I do the final cleaning with very hot water and dish soap...
It really works well.

I do this too. If it's a tool that I use infrequently, I sometimes put a little 3 in 1 oil on the tool before I put it away. Another trick is to lay you tools in a bed of salt overnight. It will draw the water right out of them.

I use the same method and absolutely agree with Y'all.washing with hot water and soap and then drying gives them a longer life.

I don't agree with putting the tools in salt. Saltwater is not good. It will corrode your tools within time. If you want to remove excess water, use a dryer or put it near a fan. That will work
