Ok, It's been a while now and was wondering what has happened to ti. I have not seen him on the site for a very long time. I'm dying to see something new from him. Or should I say, I need my Ti fix...he he he...

Tjeana Erik!
Charles has more or less left the hobby (for now anyway). Im not really sure what happened, but it appears he got somewhat burnt out, plus had a series of really bad luck. The styker he made all the additions for, got destroyed, and then he put everything up for sale. A collector in the States bought a few of his kits, but they got destoyed as well, in transport.
Its a real pity as he was really getting noticed and pulling off some great builds. But maybe a good break will do him good and heŽll make a comeback some day with a renewed energy.

How is the new job going?

Charles is a great guy who got hit on many sides at once and if it wasn't for him i wouldn't have tested my skills he was my mentor in a way for about a year or so. His builds we're fantastic maybe he will get a job with one of the model companys and help them turn out some get new kits

Well , I sure hope he gets back to the hobby. Like Barv (may his soul rest in peace), He was a great scratchbuilder who inspired me. Hope he reads this if he still comes to this forum. I see his website is still up. So there might still be hope.

Thanks for your concern guys. I really appreciate it. I have been down and under for the last past months but it seems my modeling urghes are slowly creeping up on me again. I have become interested in 1:24 scale now and will be building lots of trucks, scratchbuild, kitbash...the usual stuff. I've collected over 100 different pics of branded trucks. Actually, I will only be concentrating on European models, like Scania, MAN, etc... I have seen some awesome stuff and will be taking advantage of this opotunity. I have one more 1/35 European truck that I want to build first. Then it's over to 1:24.

So, I'll like to thank you guys for your support and hope to start showing off some of my new work some time soon....

Good to hear Charles. Taking a break was the right thing to do.
I know what its like to get burnt out .... and lose the inspiration.

Yep, me too. Still sore about my older builds though, I'll just have to let it go...

Glad to know you have not given up on us ti. Great to see you coming back to the hobby again. I can understand how you feel about your models being destroyed. So you are going into 1:24 scale? Cool... Cannot wait to see some of this work.
