can anyone help me with my question of how do you add a link into a topic. what i want to do is be able to add the highlighted blue text that when you click on it with your curser it then takes you to a different web page. (i use vista if that helps )....

When you have your text box open, there are two buttons for this.
This one has the fiull address and this one allows you to use a name for the link.
In either case, copy the link address form your address bar abnd paste replace http://put.url.here with it. In the second one, you also repace the word linkname with with whatever you want to call your link.
To see what it looks like, click the Reply with Quote button for this post and look at the last two lines.
