I was wondering if there are any companies out there that produce models of things like construction cranes, bulldozers, ... I've looked on the websites of Revell, Airfix, Heller, Tamiya but can't find anything. Maybe I'm wanting to much

Hi there
A lot depends on what scale you are looking for.I personally know of very little construction equipment in 1:35.If you're interested in 1:24 scale then look here

www.kitformservices.com

and have a look at the limited edition tracked excavator. Also there are cement mixer conversion kits on here.
You don't actually say whether you are looking for model kits or diecast models either, there is a fair selection of diecast construction equipment about in various scales.

Peter

PS if anyone can explain to me how to put a working link on here it would be appreciated .

I did forget to mention that, I'm looking for models to build myself. Diecast looks nice, but I prefer the fun of building it, and the satisfaction of looking at something you build.

How to insert a working link in a message?
When you type your message there are a few buttons below the text window.
Use this one : [url=]
This will insert the following text : (url=http://put.url.here]linkname[/url) but with square brackets
For the IBM website, this would become : (url=http://www.ibm.com]http://www.ibm.com[/url) ,again with square brackets.
