Any interest in a NE Tarrant County Club?

I know that there is Steve and Keith's group and there is IPMS in Fort Worth/Benbrook but with the price of gas and all is there anyone that would be interested in forming a club in NE Tarrant? We could meet in HEB, or Keller, or NRH or even North Arlington. Anyone??

Andy:

Even our group just sort of fell apart. t was pretty much down to Jim, Bruce and Me at the end. Bruce would come in from Mesquite , and Jim worked there. I think we are all still avid modlers, just no one had the excess time to travel to the shop on Saturday. Keith's boys had gotten active in sports and other activities pulled others away. Most of us show up at the shows and see each othr there. Keith sold out his store, but I haven't been back since then, gas is just to prohibitive. I did stock up on paint, glue and brushes. Been ordering most of my kits from Lucky Model. I still do lots of amor, but my passion is 350 scale ships.

The Lone Star Armored Brigade used to meet in NE Fort Worth, not far from the HEB area. They are a good group of guys, and very talented. I hosted a meeting once in Mansfield, and we held at least one in SW Ft. worth, although the house in NE Ft. Worth was the favorite, as Dave had a very nice workshop in his garage. I have not seen any of those guys in quite a while, and do not have their numbers. You could try posting a message on M-L. Two of the members, Allen Hill and Jordan Jones, have posted there in the post. I rarely visit that site, but would assume you could reach one of them there.
