What a terrific site and fantastic community.
Although I'm not new to building models, I had never built an AFV before. I am about to embark on building from first tank (M1A1-HA by DML). It's a daunting kit. Especially when it comes to all of the alterations to correct its flaws. I'm glad I found Armorama as it seems there is a lot of expertise in the group.
I happened upon Armorama when I was looking for information and pictures of the M1A1 in action in GW2. Although, it appears, there are only a few pictures of the tank, there is definitely lots of information and great examples of build-ups in the gallery. This will certainly be a excellent source of information as I start building.
Well, enough of my babbling. I'm sure you'll be hearing a lot of questions from me in the future.
Cheers,
Cipher

Welcome on board cipher!!! Don't you think you are a bit too "conservative" while describing this site?!? Happy to see that you've been bitten by the "armour bug" too...

Thanks for all of your kind greetings. I don't think I was being conservative when describing this site. Its an awesome source of information. I think if someone pulls all of the information out of the forums and features, a excellent modeling book can be constructed (hint, hint).
I'm sure, with your help, I'll be able to put together my kit without embarrassing myself too much.
Colonel LaFleche: merci beaucoup. Unfortuately, my French isn't so great even though I am from le grand nord blanc. J'habite a Vancouver, Columbie Britannique. La cote ouest.
Cheers,
Cipher
