Hey guys, I'm hooked on this beast after working on one with EAAK armor--as in my blog..
So I need as many of these kits I can find... ...to continue my AAV variant build ups.... I'll even consider built or incomplete ones..that you may want to get rid off..

Just realised either Tamiya's AAVP7A1 o older LVTP-7A1 kit (#35136) will do..

THANKS!

Sorry, no help here. Those are some of the most sought after and hardest to find kits. Everyone wants them and Tamiya stopped making them. Good luck in your quest.

Thanks Gino..

Either way I got to get a few...I really like this beast and have a strange craving to build it's variants...also won't want to lay waste on the $$$ I just spent on all of Hobbyfan's kits..

Just took a look at the Tamiya kit I have again..and actually the hull wouldn't be too hard to mold and cast for myself....just cost a sh*t load to buy the mold..

You could save the money and just buy them when they pop up on eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-LVTP-7A1-landing-vehicle-tracked-1-35-MISB_W0QQitemZ190232732501QQihZ009QQcategoryZ2588QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Save a search on My eBay and you'll know when one comes on auction.

Yes Paul, I do keep a look out on ebay..although I forgot I could "save" a search..Thanks
Sometimes I a bit put off because of the total cost...guess I shouldn't be so stingy for a hard to find kit!
Also, I find a lot of kits at decent prices..but their often restricted to shipping to US and Canada....

Darryl, PM sent..

I agree on the price. It's not worth paying too much since I thought I heard that Tamiya would re-release and Hobby Boss is supposed to be putting out a kit with EAAK and the RAMS upgrade but who knows when that will happen.

Paul, yup who knows when hobby boss will release them...however I'm not very certain on how their quality and accuracy is..,,base on their other kits. I'm not a "rivet counter" but pretty particular about details.
Never heard about tamiya's re-release.

Darryl...pm sent sir.

Off to a good start 2 kits attained, 3 left to find...... I'm wondering if I should re-work the entire hull of the crappy mini hobby model's kit..
