Which brings me to write a separate question.

This would make a big Difference in the final overall color of the Tank.

I have watched some paint them in Black,White,Gray etc.

Now if you lay down a Black undercoat will not my final color be darker then if I lay down a White undercoat?

Yes it would.

So if I want to have a close color would I not want the closest undercoat color to the original?

Example Red Brown German Tanks.

Crazy idea or just any color will do??
