I must admit to being surprised at how pitiful Italy have been during Euro 2008...
I'm also the first to be surprised at Spain getting into the Semi-Finals
It wasn't however as many think ANYTHING to do with the players. Here's the reason for it, your very own voodoo doll which you simply attach the flags of the opponents to and then stick pins into.

Who says Spain isn't sophisticated?
And, for a mere 9.95...

The next match will be a very interesting one .... Russia V Spain.
Will Spain have the confidence to beat Russia having done it once already?
Will the Russians ever get tired ... or will they improve even more?
Personally Im hoping for a Turkey V Russia final. Greece won it 4 years ago, another outside chance would really liven it up!
Good to know voodoo is alive and well in Spain ;-)

My guess is the latter - Russia seem to be getting better and better whereas, Spain, may be feeling tired...
Whatever, it SHOULD be an amazing game...

It's Karma... for the poor sportly manner in which they played during the WC...
Sorry, but I for one am glad to see them gone
The real question is will Turkey pull off a 4th miracle and beat Germany?

I think that the match was simply pathetic and its is hard to decide which team actually deserved to continue. I really hope that the semifinals are going to be better than yesterdays horror. Arpi

I am looking forward to the Turkey vs. Germany match. I have a feeling there will be some surprises and it will be a great match.

Italy played Spain the way any team has to play Spain to beat them, tight defensive style with occational opportunistic counter strikes, it worked for 120 minutes for the Italians. If the Russians try to open up against the speedy, youthful Spanish side, they will see a barrage of chances quickly converted at their end. I fully expect a tight bottleneck of a game, with tons of fouls and yellows and reds!

I donīt know why but I pay more attention to how the referees & lines-men perform than the teams. I can think of a few referees who should have got a red card for the way they performed. Maybe thatīs why Uefa havenīt called me to work for them again & maybe itīs because no team in Galicia has qualified for a Uefa tournament for a long time.( Rule of life: you canīt always buy the absolute, guaranteed truth....You can buy silence as long as youīre paying enough, for long enough.)
